So I have to say I was doing pretty well the last couple weeks. Keeping up with homeschooling, getting the house cleaner and more organized each day, and this week I’ve actually been getting back to doing my routines and zone cleaning with the Flylady. Then I started feeling sick Wednesday….and it escalated to a Read Some More…Life goes on…even when you’re sick…
Oh the joys of boys. Although, I must admit, when I was a little girl I used to collect slugs! I collected them in a coffee can and put them under my bed one time……can you guess what happened? Yeah, my mom found them there a while later and it was a Read Some More…Boys and worms….(earthworms) Well, it’s game day for the Oregon State Beavers today. My husband was going to take NBoy and Ekid with him to a friends house to watch the game, but then the neighbor boy came over and really wanted Nboy to stay and play, so reluctantly I said okay. This is Nboy’s first time having Read Some More…OSU vs. Boise State…..Yikes! Yesterday Ekid was forced to eat a spider. A dead Daddy Long Legs. By Nboy no less, who did it because the neighbor boy (who is 2 years older than him) told him to and Nboy thought he wouldn’t be his friend anymore if he didn’t do it. Now this boy seems to be a Read Some More…Mommy, get the spider out…… or, Duffusing a bad attitude…. *News Flash* Our kids have bad attitudes at times. (sometimes they even throw fits! GASP!) I’m sorry to say, they are not perfect. They may look it, but…..no. (Yes, that is a stick I’m holding up to try and bribe a smile……) So I’ll Read Some More…Heading off an almost 4-year olds temper tantrums…. I’ve heard this quite a lot lately and can only assume that it’s because people are so concerned about childhood obesity these days. Childhood obesity is a big problem, there’s no doubt about that and we do need to be concerned. I just think that most times many are over concerned about whether their baby Read Some More…Is my baby eating too much? So the kids were watching PBS this morning and one of the kids shows,Sid the Science Kid is talking about vaccinations. So my kids are asking “Mommy are shots really good for you” I say “yes, they help you not to get those kinds of sickness” Now, I hesitate because I still have mixed feelings Read Some More…To Vaccinate or Not To Vaccinate Ok, so my husband wonders why I can’t keep the house clean. Well, tonight was a perfect example of my plight to wash dishes. Here’s the rundown…. First off, I don’t have a dishwasher, so I have to wash dishes by hand, put them in the dish rack thingy and then if I have a Read Some More…Why I can never get the dishes done….. So I guess I still need have a ways to go with this whole blogging thing. I mean, how do other bloggers do it? Do they have the camera strapped to thier head or something? Always snapping those perfect shots with which to revolve a very interesting, touching, funny, witty, blog post around. I don’t Read Some More…Unforgiveable Sin-Forgetting the Camera….. |
